>>>>>>>>>> BISMARCK MUNICIPAL AIRPORT <<<<<<<<<<

FOR MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR 2004

             // by Eric O'Link //

Thanks for downloading my Bismarck airport scenery for FS2004!

Bismarck Municipal Airport (KBIS) serves central North Dakota and its capital city of Bismarck. The airport opened a new $15 million airline terminal in 2005. Air traffic is a variety of GA, corporate, and cargo feeder traffic, in addition to scheduled service on three airlines: Northwest/Northwest Airlink, United Express, and Allegiant Air. Bismarck also sees charters from Sun Country Airlines, and occasionally Casino Express/Xtra Airways.

I have created a new terminal somewhat representative of the real thing. Other additions are FBOs, hangars, and some vehicle traffic around the airport. All airport facility information such as runway length and approach lighting is current as of June 2008.

This scenery was made with the EZ-Scenery design program. No custom models have been created, but I have taken care to base the placement of objects and aircraft parking on airport diagrams and photographs when available. My intention was to provide a reasonably realistic representation of the airport. The default scenery has mostly been excluded, except for taxiway signs, which tend to behave oddly when excluded. Please ignore them if you see them popping up in unexpected places (like the middle of a taxiway).
